Dr. Anthony began her accomplished career in pathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society during her final year of medical school. After graduating with a Doctor of Medicine, she began her residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology and was distinguished as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Dr. Anthony went on to practice in a variety of settings in north Texas before moving to Colorado Springs in 2003. During this time she completed a postgraduate course of study and achieved a Certificate in Medical Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, in alliance with UT Southwestern Medical School.

She was Board Certified as a Diplomate of American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in 1996. Her areas of interest include women’s health testing, gastrointestinal pathology, fine needle aspiration, gynecologic cytology, breast core biopsy and interpretation of clinical testing and blood smear evaluation.

Dr. Anthony served as Laboratory Director and Medical Director of the Department of Cytology for 11 years, and also served as Chief of Staff at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.

Dr. Anthony currently serves as Chief Pathologist and CEO of Colorado Springs Pathology Associates. She also serves as high complexity CLIA Laboratory Director for Trident Care Clinical Services, overseeing various clinical laboratories through the western United States.
