Dr. Labovich received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, completed a transitional internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX, followed by residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI, Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC, the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC, where he also later completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal and liver pathology.  He has been a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology since 1998.  Along with providing expert pathology care, Dr. Labovich has served in numerous leadership roles to include section and department chief, and been the recipient of numerous awards, citations, decorations, and commendations from his military career.  He enjoys teaching and the challenges that the ever changing healthcare environment provides.
